While watching the Spectrum News loop at the dentist, I noticed that their projected commute times seemed exceedingly low. I was about to claim bullshit when I realized this is what COVID-19 as done to commutes.

Reckon: Many Democrats believe that a strong middle class doesn’t need protecting and have focused their efforts around preserving protection only for those who need it, but the lack of protection has weakened the middle class and alienated the many left behind.
Reporting intentionally misleading propaganda as merely “mostly false” is just another means of false equivalency.
The Incomparable used “She has no friends called Ian!” as an example of how Britishisms leaked into the American adaption of “High Fidelity”. I didn’t know using “called” to mean “with the name” was a Britishism as it was a common phrase when I was growing up in Connecticut.
I finally got around to watching “Isle of Dogs”. Usually Wes Anderson films are a priority, but this one was released when my son was 9 months old so we missed it in theaters. Viewing was further delayed by a vague fear that it may be a downer.
Anyhow, I really enjoyed it.
Two things that I think have helped with my posture.
- Elevating my monitor with a VESA arm keeps my head up.
- Doing yoga, which has poses that emphasize and stretch back and shoulder.
