This is from a personality test. While I do consider myself introverted, I don’t equate it with being socially unconfident. It is just that I find most social scenarios draining, and not invigorating. Do folks usually associate introversion with lack of social confidence?

Was Dr. Seuss racist? Yes. Was Dr. Seuss opposed to racism? Also, yes. Racism is not a binary. The bad news is that you can be opposed to racism and still be racist. The good news is that racism is something that you can excise, but you have to recognize it first.
You might be thinking that dehumanizing a wartime enemy is not uncommon. Sure, but Seuss typically characterized European enemies as dangerous buffoons, and mostly focused his satire on their leaders. He regularly portrayed all Japanese as less than human and untrustworthy.
Here are two World War II comics from the fantastic book “Dr. Seuss Goes to War“. The first, one of many, betrays a deep resentment towards racism in America while the second, also (sadly) one of many, betrays a deeply racist worldview.

Finally reading up on shadow DOM, which looks really neat, but is that really the best name for the behavior? A document can have multiple shadow DOMs even though “DOM” is a singular, and “shadow” connotes something nefarious (shadow government, shadowy figure).
