LinkedIn recently surfaced an event titled “The Power Of Building Untaxable Wealth”. To my eyes, it might as well have read “fuck your neighbors.”
Ever have the feeling that there is literally no place in the grocery store where you won’t be in the way?
“Why!?”
- School-aged me, in response to my mother prompting me to drink more water.
“How is this 32oz tumbler empty again!?”

After doing a dedicated “legs day” for the first time in over a year yesterday, my plan for today is to… (checks notes) avoid sitting on the toilet.
If you also hate browser tabs created by Zoom, I’ve made a Mac Shortcut to join the next meeting directly in the Zoom app. It requires Apple Calendar, but should work with all calendar services and isn’t creepy.

I fixed a bug in my workflows to rate music. I use duration to locate the library version of a song playing on Apple Music. This didn’t work for pre-Apple Music library songs that can have a slightly different duration as the version playing.
And here’s Automator workflows that use AppleScript to rate the currently playing song. Because ratings are more-or-less deprecated, it also automatically “likes” ratings 4 and 5, and “dislikes” ratings 1 and 2.
