Week of the election, day 152: Biden flipped Georgia? Neat.

Trump doesn’t even pay lip service to “fiscal restraint” or “small government”. His supporters want oppression and suppression, are willing to accept oppression and suppression for tax cuts, and/or live in denial that this is what their party has become.

Republicans have been selling “fiscal restraint” and “small government” my whole adult life, but it never happens when they come into power. Instead there’s fiscally irresponsible tax cuts for the wealthy, oppression of women and minorities, and increasingly, voter suppression.

I paced a whopping 30 seconds faster per mile on this morning’s run thanks in part to Election Day anxiety.
