As someone firmly upper-middle-class, I feel like I have been blessed with privilege and luck. Sure I have abilities and developed some skills. I’ve even made a few smart decisions, but I would have not gotten as far as I have without privilege and luck.

- School-aged me, in response to my mother prompting me to drink more water.
“How is this 32oz tumbler empty again!?”
- Middle aged me, in response to my now perpetually thirsty body.
Confession: Sometimes I confuse the names “Fiona Apple”, “Sharon Van Etten”, and “Sharon Apple” into the singular name “Sharon Van Apple”.
Still a sucker for 3/4 and 6/8 time signatures.
Most people: “But Electron apps aren’t that bad.” Me: “Closes window of only discover there is no way to open a new window without restarting the Electron app.”
(Yes, I realize there are good examples of Electron apps.)
After doing a dedicated “legs day” for the first time in over a year yesterday, my plan for today is to… (checks notes) avoid sitting on the toilet.
If you also hate browser tabs created by Zoom, I’ve made a Mac Shortcut to join the next meeting directly in the Zoom app. It requires Apple Calendar, but should work with all calendar services and isn’t creepy.

I fixed a bug in my workflows to rate music. I use duration to locate the library version of a song playing on Apple Music. This didn’t work for pre-Apple Music library songs that can have a slightly different duration as the version playing.
