One technical achievement I can’t help but marvel at is how 30 second multi-factor codes always have less than 5 seconds remaining.

I like to imagine that someone in Seattle throws chair every time I can use Apple Pay to easily buy something from a site other than Amazon.

On the one hand, I am very much for making cities more livable by reducing cars. On the other, I worry that doing so without massive changes to housing and transit would be hugely regressive as only those wealthy enough to live in cities would be able to reap the benefits.

Both @SlackHQ and @DiscordApp can mute channels, which is great, but I would love to be able to unmute a channel for some amount of time. This would be for channels I don’t participate in regularly, but have occasional bursts of activity like when asking a question.

Republicans being evil was more-or-less a joke when I was younger. Here we are today and that evil we dismissed as a joke is being acted on. They want everyone outside of their norm (mostly Christian, mostly white, mostly male) to be invisible.
