None of my posts from MarsEdit were making it to Mastodon because the “Mastodon Autopost” plugin disables autoposting unless “Toot on Mastodon” is checked in WordPress’s web interface. I tweaked “mastodon_autopost.php” to always autopost unless otherwise specified.
