Loved the discussion of @atpfm about fitness and exercise. As someone who has had a routine for decades, my advice to anyone starting out is to prioritize building the routine over maximizing gains. Exercise takes time and energy. Finding that time and mustering that energy is by far the hardest part initially. Going to get up early and run? Start by walking or do a couch to 5K. The difficulty of the run will pale in comparison to the difficulty of consistently getting up that much earlier.
