Apple lowered the trade-in value of iPhone 11 Pro to $0, claiming that the port doesn’t work due to a broken pin. This is the same port I used to transfer data to my new iPhone 15 Pro just prior to shipping the trade-in. I asked the rep if there was anything I could have done to prove the phone functioned prior to shipping. They didn’t have an answer. I don’t know for sure there is foul play, but I do know that I shipped a phone with a working port and that the lack of recourse is problematic.
