Likening the success of Bluesky to that of a charter school isn’t to suggest that I think Bluesky will or should fail. I can’t wait to try it. I just wonder how much of Bluesky’s “fun” is due to selection bias wherein the only people on it are those who were influential enough to be invited or savvy enough to ask for an invite.
